Speaking nromally after surgery

I am finally scheduled in to see the surgeon for a pre op appointment

on 2 May - that will make it about 1 year in braces. My OD says

surgery is aimed for about July based on what the surgeon says. My OD

says I'm ready though.

Just wondering how normally people were speaking about a month after a

lower jaw advancement.

I plan to have a month off for the whole thing and am hoping that once

I go back to work the fact I have had surgery won't be obvious through

my speech.

I would appreciate people's input.
