Guest guest
Most of them have Xanthan gum and/or other preservatives added to them. It's really easy to make however. > Could someone please remind me why we are not to use canned coconut milk? > > Darlene > Intestinal Dysbiosis/CFS > SCD 5 weeks > > > > ------------------------------------ > >

Guest guest
The ones I saw in the store, out of the 4 different brands, all had guar gum (illegal) added except one. It has cocounut extract, water, potassium metabisulfite. It's a product of Thailand. Guest guest
Does it come out watery or is it nice and thick and creamy so that I could use it in my coffee? Guest guest
I tried coconut milk in my coffee and wasn't impressed. I'd rather just drink it black. Fresh almond milk is good in coffee, or depening how advanced you are you can buy some lacteeze drops (or whatever brand you like) and put a couple drops into a little bit of cream or half and half for 24-48 hours to give it plenty of time to break down the lactose. Then use that in your coffee. Coffee has always given me a reaction.... If you can tolerate it, then you're lucky!-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 8 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 12 pills a day Prednisone 40mg entocort With vit E mixed inBack to intro/stage 1 for now.To: BTVC-SCD From: darleneryan@...Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2010 08:06:36 -0700Subject: Re: canned coconut milk The ones I saw in the store, out of the 4 different brands, all had guar gum (illegal) added except one.
