Andy,Are you eating some pretty advanced foods right now? I assume yes, since you've gone out to eat.In that case why not go back to stage1/intro foods. see if that helps, or you can do intro for a day and clean everything out then stay at stage 1 for a week. Since i'm assuming you have been eating some pretty advanced foods in the last week, I would just try eating stage1/intro foods for a week and see what happens. I would think the easier you make it on your system the better off you'll be. So, puree, well cook, seed, and skin everything that you can.You could try stopping the yogurt for 2 days, and at the same time take out all dairy... no eggs no cheese, ect. Just eat meat and try to cut out veggies/fruit juice too. You'll be REALLY tired from lack of nutrients/carbs but when I did this it helped alot. Then I went back to fruit juice, ect. STILL trying to gain some weight back now.... so use caution if you're already underweight. I also cut out all supplements/vitamins for those 2 days. I'm on meds now and eating almost whatever I want that's SCD legal but I feel like those 2 days of suffering gave me a jump start.Hope this helps-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 8 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 12 pills a day Prednisone 40mg entocort With vit E mixed inBack to intro/stage 1 for now.To: BTVC-SCD From: andy.thestud@...Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2010 13:12:17 +0000Subject: Back to Intro ;(

I am flaring since eating out quite a bit for a week -- once a day with fresh blood :(

I plan to go back on the Intro for a few days. Sorry if this is a repeat question, but answers are very much appreciated:

1. I take SCDophilus -- should I stop it while on intro?

2. Should I stop yogurt too?

3. Does things have to pureed etc -- in other words, is it STRICT intro?

4. How long do I have to do it?

Thanks,

Andy
