Guest guest
My point about eating liver is that the high levels of vitamin A (retinol) can raise your vitamin A levels to a toxic level. Guest guest
That could be...but I've always viewed liver as a " cow filter. " Who wants to eat all the nasties that are filtered out of the cow? Sorta like an oil filter....the liver of the car. It's odd, but I did view liver as food when I was a kid...I'd even order it out! But now, it just grosses me out. Can't stand the taste or the smell, and knowing the function of the liver doesn't help. If it is high in the kind of A that builds up, then I sure don't want to get involved with it. I have to fight to keep my A levels down as it is. Re: Question kinda answered! Ray, I don't know for sure, but I have to believe that you'd have to eat a ton of liver for your Vit A to reach toxic levels. in NJ
Guest guest
Yep, give me chocolate or give me death. Actually I prefer milk chocolate and white chocolate but I've always been about nutty. I thought the weather was bad here in Texas. I think our heat index has been 105 in the shade. Of course our humidity hasn't been below 60 in like forever.
