Dear Carol,

I hope that you are truly feeling better by now.. I know that shingles are

most painful.. never experienced them, but have heard from others.

I pray that you are soon better.. and I suppose the being below goal is a

good thing.. I hope to reach goal weight some day.. doesnt seem like I am ever

going to get there ., though.

Hugs,

Thanks, Corrine... I have been taking it easy, almost no choice with

the pain as bad as it has been. I was living on Ibuprofen for

awhile but then went on a pain patch I will ask about the Neurontin.

What I really don't like is taking the sleeping pills,

yuck...druggie city in the AM which I am not used to being a morning

person.

This entire PHN has knocked me for a loop. I just pray it is short-

term. My friend had it for three weeks, but in that three weeks she

had to quit her job, quit her golf league and could not sleep in her

bed once. I am hoping I have the 3 week type and not the 3 year

type!

In the meantime the pain does keep me from eating much and I have

lost another couple of pounds which puts me below goal a few pounds

and the size 8's feeling a bit loose. But what really is different

is not being able to work-out. It became such a part of my life.

Thanks for your concern!

Carol G.

Big hugs back to you, . I covet your prayers and appreciate

your thoughtfulness.

Please keep trying and watch the negative " self-talk " . It is amazing

how we can trigger our own failure by programming our minds. You CAN

reach goal and we are all here behind you.

You have my prayers and all my best wishes. Keep plugging away,

honey, I know you can do it!

Love,

Carol G.
