Guest guest
I believe that got a letter about it, so I think it is legal. But Marilyn says, make your own, make your own, make your own!(although that is harder for those of us not yet in possession of smokers)I tried 's recently - and it had no ill effect. MaraIs 's liquid smoke legal or not? Liquid smoke isn't on the list of legal/illegal foods. Does anyone know? Thanks! http://www.bgfoods.com/wrights/default.asp
Guest guest
Same here, no ill effects. There is a letter somewhere about how they make it and the only thing in it is water that has captured the smoke. I use it and never had a problem.-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a dayTo: BTVC-SCD From: alcibiades@...Date: Sun, 7 Feb 2010 21:46:14 -0500Subject: Re: Liquid smoke-is it legal? Does anyone know? I don't think so. Some people say yes. Some no. I bought a Cameron's stove top smoker, and smoke my meats for real. I also smoke veggies, dry them, powder them, and toss them in sauces to accomplish a much better flavor than any7 liquid smoke. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

Guest guest
Marilyn, I think they may be referring to the email exchange I had with 's, not an physical letter. This is the post that contains it: http://eatingscd.com/2008/06/26/barbecue-sauce-2/ Cheers, eatingscd.com > >Same here, no ill effects.
