We have seen the same issues with at 9 months old. He was not crawling and seems to have difficulty in reaching down to pick up toys from my lap. We took him to PT and will be going once a week plus doing daily exercises with him to get him to have more mobility and start to crawl. We also found he was using his left hand not his right. After a week of PT and excerices he is using both hands and spinning when put on his stomach. The PT told us she rather have him crawl then scoot but too bad because he scooted across the kitchen and used his right hand to open drawers today. We are thrilled. We were also told to massage his head and to press on his shoulders to stretch the neck muscles. We have shown our day care one exercise and will show them another next week. We will see

the PT until he walks. She notices his back and shoulders were not a perfect "t". His shoulders were lopsided.
