yep.

that's why I eat a whole lot less tatziki than I used to. Garlic in any form

will

effect it - though I imagine roasted will be effected less worse than

raw.

Do you suppose it will negate all of the benefits of the probiotics or just

some?

It depends on the potency and amount of the garlic with respect to the

potency and amount of yogurt.

I don't think it would necessarily kill all of the SCD yogurt's probiotic

effect.

But, depending on the amount you use, it would blunt it significantly.

Maybe just eat some extra yogurt that day?

I don't know if this is a stupid question or not but if the yogurt was combined with some roasted garlic, would it have an effect on the probiotics?I don't think so. Check my post right before this, there's a link about garlic and good bacteria. I think natural antifungals/bacterials only kill the baddies, not the goodies. Unlike drugs. Just goes to show, no human can compete with Mother Nature!! Peace =)Alyssa 15 yoUC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Azathioprine 50 mg 1x per day
