Guest guest
I must say that I am mainly a lurker...and a sponge...I have been absorbing all this wonderful information for the past month. Just wanted to get into the fray and tell my progress...for I'm sure I will have questions popping up for the next year.;-) I went into the hospital last Tuesday, June 8, and was weighed at 367. I had the laposcopic surgery late afternoon. Felt terrific. My off day was the following day, but I did walk without any trouble...and did so well they let me go home the following day. I would say the worse thing was what I had inquired about here earlier...caffeine withdrawal. Boy the headache! Now that I see the ending of this part...I will never go back to caffeine again! Anyway I had my first visit to the doctor today...to remove the drain pouch. I had lost 22 pounds! So far everything seems great. I believe I will have to use MoM a bit, but the doctor didn't seem considered at this stage. I love all the info here...especially the suggestion of the fat pouch for the insurance approval. Thanks everyone for sharing and being here.
