due to the decreased gastric acid production in wls'ers, we only

absorb calcium citrate, not calc carbonate. check out the graduate

group & most especially the ossg osteoporsis group for tons of

medical literature on this. do not take my word on this, i'm not a

medical profesional. i care(d) enough to post this, not to mention

i have osteopenia, diagnosed @ 17 months post-op, w/ NO other risk

factor other than malabsorption.
