hello all,

Wondering if anyone can give input.

Tried introducing some new advanced foods into my diet over the past month and a

half:

peanut butter (with no immediate reaction), cow's milk yogurt (tried 3-4 times,

did not agree with me), cayenne pepper. Also, I got ambitious and tried a little

bit of sweet potato and quinoa on two separate occasions to see if I was ready

for any non-scd foods. I got some serious heart burn from the quinoa and potato

and did not try either again.

Last week I began to notice my stomach was significantly bloated and I seemed to

be retaining a significant amount of water. My stomach bloating was gradually

increasing throughout the day and I felt mildly nauseated about 10-15 minutes

after eating but had no diarrhea, which was my primary symptom when I started

the diet a year and a half ago.

Two days ago I decided to return to the intro diet. Today I have had a

resurgence of diarrhea. Is this normal? Could this be my body cleaning itself

out or should I be concerned that my primary symptom has returned on the intro

diet? I have scheduled a doctor's appointment but wont be seen for 2 weeks. Any

input would be appreciated.

So much for eating like the " normal " folks do!

Yes, that sure is the truth, I did learn the hard way!I guess I got too far

ahead of myself, or my digestion.

I found it very interesting that they both caused heartburn also. After the

heartburn I kept waiting to have to run to the bathroom but I never did.

Diarrhea has always been my one and only reaction to eating something that dones

not agree with my digestion, SCD legal but too advanced. I figured if my

digestion didn't like the non-scd foods I would have had the same reaction.

Instead, it seems they made me extremely bloated.

Well, if nothing else, at least I know SCD is definitely working for me!

Thanks for the words of encouragement!
