Guest guest
Our 3-year-old son has never been allowed to eat very many sweets, and he has long since stopped begging for chocolate since we keep none in our home. He is allowed milk-free chocolate chips as an occasional ABA reinforcer, or a special treat. He dislikes sour candy (no starburst), and has begun begging for fruit-flavored suckers or gummy bears. However, we're trying to wean him off corn since his test results came back showing sensitivity..... He gets his meds/supplements in honey/nutbutter balls (that are finally peanut-free). Any suggestions for occasional " candy substitutes " that fit his dietary restrictions? Seems like all hard candy contains corn syrup!
