Guest guest
First thank you all for the well wishes. Regina appreciates them. Doc said that she'll be coming home tomorrow. He already filled out the discharge papers and I promised her I would be up there bright and early to bring her home. We did get some not so good news again. They found a large amount of blood in her urine and decided to do a sonogram to check for kidney stones or fibroids. Well they found a 6 cm cyst on her right ovary and her uterus is so enlarged with fibroids that it has to come out. She's had a bulge in that area for quite some time now and thought it was fluid retained from the tummy tuck. Had an appt with the plastic surgeon for him to aspirate it in two weeks. You can actually feel it if you put your hand on her tummy. She is devastated at the thought of having more surgery. There was just no consoling her tonight. She's worried about the kids, ruining their vacation, etc. Whatever she could think of to make herself upset, she managed to do. I just let her vent. Doc finally prescribed a sedative for her so she can get some sleep. Just so much to deal with. Will probably have the surgery the second week of July. Needs to have it done during the summer before her classes start again in the fall and we have a family vacation planned for the last week of August, so she wants to be well enough for that. It's a tradition that we take the kids away the week before school starts. Has a bad case of the blues right now, but know when she gets home she'll feel much better. We appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers you have sent her way. Tim
