Guest guest
Not if you know the paths of the nerves. When I was two months or so post-op, I developed shingles in my trigeminal nerve, on my left side. One little sore was visible (and I still have a scar), just under my left eye, but it hurt like the devil. Pain developed there, down the side of my face near the ear, across over the upper lip, back down in front of the ear, and across, under the lower lip. One of the docs started telling me where the nerve ran. I told him he needn't bother, that I was intimately acquainted with the path, and would draw it with my finger if he wished -- that was where the shingles hurt! Haven't had 'em since, but have also stayed away from kids with chicken pox, a luxury parents don't have. C. > > > > I had upper, lower and genio on November 11th.
