Guest guest
My guess ( just a guess!) is you'd start over some what. s. Restart bracing schedule I am curious about something. My little guy started wearing his brace several weeks ago. Now he is back in another cast for 2 weeks (to further correct the c-shape). Would I have to restart the bracing schedule over again after he comes out of this cast, or do I come back where I left off. He started the brace on Jan. 9th and went into this cast on Jan. 30th (a 2-week cast, due to come off Feb 13th). If this cast would not have been needed, he would have come down in hours on April 9th. Does this mean he will start over and not come down in hours until May 13th? I emailed Dr. P about this when I asked him about the c-shape casts, but he didn't answer this question in his email, so I would hate to bother him with another email. I wanted to hear input from all of you before I ask the ortho doc. Thanks!
Guest guest
I think I'd probably give it 6-8w again at 23/7 at least. And then drop a few hours at a time to get you to 18 or so by the time 3 mo's is up. But then again, I am not sure so it would be good to ask someone in the know more, probably Dr. P. Don't worry about asking questions, I'm sure he won't be bothered. sorry not much more help. Let us know what he says k? Kori At 09:07 AM 2/1/2006, you wrote: >I am curious about something. Guest guest
Such a little trival thing, but it means the world to us doesn't it? IMO, since Marcus was already in the shoes for 3 weeks, I would think an additional 9 weeks (total of 12 wks. = 3 mo.) after he comes out of the cast should be sufficient. That would put you to April 17th. Depends too on your next appt. If you are to go back to the doc for a check up around that time then I would assume wait for the appt. Hope this helps, Mom to Jenna (4/7/01) & Sammy (9/25/04, RCF, Dobbs' brace, 14hrs/day) > > I am curious about something. My little guy started wearing his > brace several weeks ago.
