Guest guest
I have to admit, I don't think it would be such a bad thing to have surgery in such a beautiful place . Best of luck Staci and congratulations! Lap RNY April 9, 2004 348/290/140 (begin/current/goal) www.carrieburns.net > Hello everyone! > I definitely have my date now!! It is all set! Guest guest
Wow Staci!!! Good for you. Too bad you can't enjoy Puerto Vallarta a little while before you go into surgery. I will keep you in my prayers. How long will you have to stay down there? Are they doing it a lot cheaper than here in the states? If you don't mind me asking, what are they going to charge you. Just curious in case I don't get ins approval. Dora Awaiting approval in TN I have my date!! Hello everyone! I definitely have my date now!! It is all set! Guest guest
Hi Dora! The total cost of the surgery is $14,750. There are no hidden fees. This amount includes ROUNDTRIP airfare from your local airport, all medical fees, all specialist fees, all pre surgery exams, the bypass surgery, post op medication, (Pain reliever and Antibiotic), as well as 10 nights hotel after you are discharged from the hospital for recovery. (14 days total) The wait is only 2-3 weeks after you pay, and it is a lot less than in the states, and I think they will treat you quite well, since medical tourism is their livlihood. They want to get a good reputation, it's really wonderful. I think it is a great deal for everyone involved! Maybe it's just me but I had no hope with my insurance, and now I will be gone to have it in about 10 days.. I am simply thrilled! To top it off, it's laproscopic, which is great. I wanted that. I found some doctors there that do open rny for about half of what I am paying.. I can't wait!! Staci lap rny 7-6-04 (soon!!) > Wow Staci!!! > > Good for you.
