Now that I am at goal, I weigh myself every morning. Like , I do it

to monitor my weight. I am looking for a trend, rather than judging myself

on whether I am being successful or heading for disaster. I have a 4 lb

window either way that I look for (4 lbs, not 5 lbs - who know why? Four is

an even number). I only worry when I stay up for more than a few days. At

that point it's easy to adjust.

When I was still losing I weighed several times a day. It drove me a little

crazy, but it also helped me to realized that weight can fluctuate greatly

on a daily basis. I NEVER weigh myself in the evening, because I know I

will weigh at least 2 lbs more than in the morning and that drives me crazy.

Alright, so I'm not perfect.

I weigh myself once a week; usually on Mondays. I've been on a basically vegan

diet, eating only nuts, protein drinks, tofu, seitan, tempeh, soymilk etc...

and getting an hour of exercise 5 days a week, and drinking about 2-3 liters of

water per day and being very diligent about my supplements (2 chewable

multis /day one in the morning, one in the evening, 2 Niferex iron caps one in

the morning one in the after noon, and 1200 mg.calcium citrate 2 in the early

morning and one before bed. I also take B-12 sublingual liquid every other

day. This has been going on for 2 weeks solid, and as of last week, I hadn't

lost any. So, this morning I couldn't wait until Monday, so I weighed myself,

confident that I should weigh AT LEAST a couple of pounds less, and maybe even

get back under 200 (I weighed 204 before this morning) and WHAT DO YOU THINK I

SAW???? 206!!!! I had actually GAINED 2 lbs. Don't give me that business

about muscle weighing more than fat; I've been lifting weights for YEARS, and I

know the pattern...WHATS A GAL TO DO???? I guess I will just keep plugging

along. Oh yeah, and the pants fit just a little bit better, but some days I

swear they are getting tighter!!
