Guest guest
Cammie and Giant.... C - I had the same reaction. I have a note posted to my bulletin board that reads " It is better to be alone for the right reasons, than with someone for the wrong. " I wrote that when I tried to muster up the courage to leave a relationship I was not happy with... on that note, however, realizing cultures out there are so vastly different... Giant - where are you from? This tradition is intriguing, among other things. Talking to your surgeon and orthodontist is definitely the best option. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm going to assume you haven't had your brackets on yet... in my experience (of, oh, a whole big MONTH!), nobody would voluntarily go through bracket replacements unless absolutely necessary (connie ;-) That is the last thing I would want to waste another 3 hours on, that's for sure! But, it has been done... one of the cast members in a musical I was in had her braces off for performance week. Good luck with everything, and I hope your decisions lead you to a happy and satisfying life. Kate > > > > Thanks Beth. Guest guest
Ok I am totally lost on this one but also intrigued. Lets say that I HAD to do this due to my cultural beliefs...I would REALLY opt to get braces, have surgery, recover, and then go find my husband looking great!! (that would a year and a half at least). I am guessing this isn't an option? If you take the braces off, go find the husband, what if he doesn't approve of the braces being put back on or the surgery? Is there any sort of getting to know you involved, or is it here's the one-bing-bam-boom married? Sorry for my lack of knowledge on the matter. Jane > > > > > > Thanks Beth.
