I had an epidural put in just before surgery. There was no pain from it

being put in. I don't think I had any side effects from it, but it was hard

to tell because I felt generally yucky after surgery. The biggest problem I

had with the epidural was that I had a skin reaction to the tape they used.

This is common for me and I react to almost any tape on my skin. I did

notice that I was able to walk pretty good the morning after surgery and I

never did that well with my c-sections (no epidural then). If I had to

choose now, I would still get it done.

Hi Shiela,

No, I did not have an epidural.. and what's more, did not even come

close to needing one. The IV was fine and barely used it, either.

They wont let you be in pain.. dont worry about that.
