Guest guest
Moderate bilateral clubfoot was detected in my baby at my 20 week ultrasound back in December 2005. Since then I have done some research on the internet, received an e-mail response from Dr. Ponseti, seen the DVD from the Rubin Institute in Baltimore which features Dr. Herzenberg, met with pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Thierry Benaroch (Montreal Children's Hospital and Shriners), had further testing and spoken to parents with children with clubfoot. Dr. Benaroch was recommended by my obstetrician and young son's pediatrician, and he adheres to the Ponseti method which he started using in 2000. Does anyone have any comments on any doctors in Montreal? I also have a list of doctors, such as Vancouver-based Dr. Pirani that Ponseti always refers to. Also, I would like to read Dr. Ponseti's " Congenital clubfoot. Fundamentals of treatment " but the virtual hospital website closed at the beginning of 2006. Luckily I read some of the information in December. Does anyone know how to get this publication or do I have to go through Dr. Ponseti directly? I also posted this message on the clubfootcanada Yahoo group. Thank you, Paola.
