Hello,

I just joined this group and am so happy to have found it! Our

daughter was diagnosed with clubfoot and has been treated via the

ponseti method. She just received her first pair of shoes and brace

today and is quite fussy!!. I was just looking for any words of

wisdom from more experienced parents! Any suggestions on how to avoid

pressure points and comfortable sleeping tips! Thanks in advance!

I am a fairly newbie too. I am sure the other more experienced people

will respond, but for quick reference, check out the pdf file on here

that has FAB tips. Especially check that the bar length is not too

short. Hold bar and shoes up to back and make sure shoulders fit b/w.

That is one of the most common issues.

It will usually take a few days of fussiness to adjust. Is it painful

cries or minor fussiness? Did she have a tenotomy? Did u try giving

Tylenol for any pain or cramping? Show her how to move her legs

simultaneously?

Welcome!
