Guest guest
I emailed Graco to ask if my son's Graco Pack and Play contained arsenic and antimony. They quickly responded back, and said that they would NEVER put elements like that into their products. Doctor says that playpens do contain the elements, so I called them, and acted like I hadn't asked before. I just asked what they used to make the Pack and Plays flame resistant. At first they said that there was no way to find out, then when I pressed them and said that someone has to be accountable for that, they said that they would find out. That was 2 weeks ago. I called them last week, and they said that they were still trying to find out, and that they would call back within a couple of days. I never got a call. I called a few minutes ago, and my information has mysteriously disappeared from their computer system and they now do not know who I talked to. So I asked again and was told that they would call me back whenever they find out. This time I told them that I specifically needed to know if they contain antimony and arsenic. I immediately got a call back from someone at Graco in another department, and she was asking about 's health and if he'd been to a doctor about this and about his metals testing. She asked how old he is and how long he had been using the playpen. I know now that I majorly screwed up. I should have ended the call and said that she would have to talk to my attorney, but I answered her questions and didn't realize how lawyer-like she sounded until I had hung up. I think they're trying to keep it hushed, and trying to nip this problem in the bud. I will keep you all posted on this, but keep this in mind if you are using a playpen. ===== __________________________________________________
