Medical alert bracelets

There was someone on this list who made them and could get them in gold

with the DS surgery on it. I would like to get one.

The words I have seen most often were stating that you had the surgery, no

nsaids, and caution with ng tube and listing other medical conditions if you

have them.. Mine says " RNY Gastric Bypass/No NSAIDS/Caution with NG Tube. "

That said, I wore mine a lot at first but hardly wear it anymore a year out.

I bought one of the expensive ones at www.laurenshope.com because they are

made into pretty gold, silver, and/or beaded bracelets so I thought I'd be

more likely to wear it. But then when I thought about it I wondered if it

would even be noticed since it looks like a bracelet. It does have the

medical plate with the symbol on it. Oh well. Live and learn.
