To keep the inflammation down, as with anything in our body, any insult, injury, surgery, our body works on overtime, trying to fix everything even things that are not broken, the steroids helps keep that inflammation

down enough so we hopefully will not have a flare with the surgery, and I didn't I hope that makes sense to you. Marla

Why did they put you on IV steroids before and after the surgery?
