Hi Beth, I haven't been on here in a REALLY long time. You might

remember us, my son is Calvin and we were living in Japan and were

treated by Dr. Ponseti, then relocated to Minneapolis. I met you at

Gillette.

Are you still at Gillette? I asked and they said you had left. I saw

your posts about the Philippines projects and wondered what you are

doing now.

We've had a bit of a HORRIBLE year. Calvin broke his femur and spent

8 weeks in a full body cast. We took him to Children's here and he

was treated by an on call doctor. About a a month after the spica

cast came off he suffered a hairline fracture of the distal tibia of

the same leg, and we took him to Gillette. He was in a walking cast.

He's been out of that cast for about 6 weeks now and is still limping

a bit. We were on a road trip last week and I decided to take him to

Iowa to see what Dr. P. had to say. Dr. P. is concerned about the

right foot and thinks that the spica foot may have messed up that foot

a bit. He put us back in the shoes (Calvin is now 4 1/2 and the Drs.

at Gillette had recommended against that and gave us something else)

and wants us to watch his foot. He thinks he may need the ATT

surgery. Big bummer, but we'll see how it goes. He also has an

appointment scheduled in April at Gillette as a follow-up for all of this.

Anyway I was just curious what you are up to with clubfoot if you

aren't at Gillette anymore.

Jen
