Guest guest
Well, by gum, I'll try it! The problem is finding tenderloin in Milwaukee. I used to get in Chicago once in a while but rarely find it here. (It *must* be an Iowa thing!) Soon as I find it, the starch and potato chip experiment is underway! I wonder if you mixed some starch (corn, potato, tapioca) with milk substitute, dipped the loin slices in that and then in the potato chips if it might work? Lolita >Unless we're egg-free! Guest guest
Nope, I'm from Indiana, and they are sold here as fast food. They're huge here, enough for about 3 buns, and you get onions, ketchup, mustard and pickles on them. And of course, always an order of onion rings! Lolita >Is* it just an Iowa thing, then? I've never heard anyone who wasn't from >Iowa mention tenderloin sandwiches.

Guest guest
It's sold here as boneless pork loin. It's this huge, monstrous, long thing. For a regular sized family, I'd imagine there's enough for several meals- for mine I get a meal and a half. You might ask a butcher about it? Lolita >Well, by gum, I'll try it!
