Guest guest
We use the ABEKA VIDEO home school, where the lessons are on video tape and all the books and supplies are ups'd right to your door. Have used it for several years with GREAT success. However, my autistic son uses the public system, because they do a great job here. We do take over when class is done. He rides the bus home with an aide, then we continue to keep his mind active until bedtime. Keeping the brain active seems to be a common thread amongst success stories I have read, although the method of teaching employed varies from child to child. Floor time & ABA seem to be jump starters for learning, based on our experience and reading. >, The great thing is you get to learn again right along with your >child!!...There are many wonderful curriculums to choose from and most >have the Teacher Edition that explains it as you go along.
