Guest guest
Okay, we bit the bullet and bought a Kitchen Aid mixer, even though I am not a baker or cook, but would like to try to make my own breads and snacks for the kids. I have a breadmachine, but most of the mixes say to pre mix in a mixer first. Anyway, at Filene's the had the Professional 6 quart 525 watt mixer with pouring shield, on sale from $499 to $369, plus an additional 10% if you filled out an application for a Filenes card. That brought it down another $37 for $332. Alot of money for us, but it seemed like a really good price. Did I go overboard? Should I bring it back and get a smaller one? Costco had a smaller one 5 quart 325 watt for $239 and my friend Maureen, who does a lot of baking told me that she didnt think it would be good enough for breads if that was what I primarily wanted it for. She said she had the 6 quart and loves it. I have a tendency to overdo things a bit. ===== Phyllis Parmelee Visit my website: THE 100 ACRE WOOD CHILD CARE - My Brand New Website Like my website?
