Hello,

I had these exact symptoms. One day after release from hospital, I

went back to get an ultrasound of my legs, to rule out any blood

clots....no clots. Dr. Herron told me that due to a 7 and a half hour

surgery, most likely my nerves in my legs were acting up. Now 3

months and one week out, and slowly but surely each day hurt less and

less. This was my only complication and as of this week, no problems

at all!

Started at 373lbs BMI 53

Today 289 lbs BMI 40

Feel great, eat normal, just less than before surgery, but more than

satisfied. Zero complaints

HOW GREAT IS THIS SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....About the ultrasound of the legs to rule out blood clots, Dr. Macura has

this done on everyone before they leave the hospital. That gave me such peace

of mind. I haven't had any numbness, but then again, I had open DS, which took

2 hours. Sounds like nerve compression to me. Beth
