Guest guest
And hey -- I'm sure there are folks who've moved from Shreveport, with teaching certificates, and no intention of teaching, and then have later prepared their documentation and been approved. I think it's a good idea to get it all together while you're on the spot, but if you're not up to it, surely it can be done later. Maybe you can teach your hubby a small lesson about what his post-op patients will need, in the course of all this, too. I do think that docs do these procedures soooo often that they become almost routine. So when someone has a problem, they're prepared, but they don't expect it to happen ahead of time. And the perspective is bound to be different for one who does such surgeries 10 times a week, or even three times a week, than it is for one who undergoes such only once in a lifetime! We're thinking about all the " what-ifs, " but they're thinking that it's gonna be simple. Not that they don't try to cover the " what if's, " just that they don't expect any of them, once they've taken their careful preparations. C.
