grain based talc in packaging

Hi! I just got an e-mail from Dairy Farm. They make breakfast

sausages/patties that have a short ingredient list and I thought I'd give it

a try. They replied that the two products I asked about were gluten and

dairy free, but that the " package is coated with a grain based talc as a

processing aid " Is this common? should I worry about this with other foods

that are packaged in cardboard packages? Does anyone of a breakfast type

meat food that is ok that doesn't have alot of preservatives, etc? Thanks in
