Pam,Goats milk is more delicate than cows milk, so you will not be heating it as high. I think the max is 185F. Okay, I'm going to try it! Any suggestions on doing homemade goat's milk yogurt? I've followed the recipe in SCD before, and it turned out fine....just a bit tart. Any solution to that? I want a rich, creamy yogurt. Can I get that with homemade? I'm doing it the heating pad method as I don't have a yogurt maker yet. Thanks!
