I have thought the same thing. I had my gallbladder out 30 years ago and have had an easy time adjusting to my new BM's. I was even a tad constipated at first until my dear Dr. said to eat more fat. LOL It worked. I go 1-3 times first thing in the morning, have virtually no diarrhea, nothing urgent, little to no gas, and not even too much smell. I think my body went thru far worse than this 30 years ago. Jackie Ward jward533@... Dr. Maguire BPD Surgery 3/19 Currently down 90 lbs. Guest guest
, I had the DS on 4/21/01. I have had occasional diarrhea but always very soft stool since surgery. I have felt married to that porcelain god having 8-12 movements a day even through the night. I did not have my gallbladder removed. I think it is just my body adjusting to my new system. Hope you get answers to your question. Guest guest
, Had my gallbladder removed during DS and have had no problem with my bowels. Diarrhea was under control within 3 weeks; now at 9 weeks, I'm totally regular (once or twice a morning, more if I load myself up on fat to counter constipation).
