I've been searching the net looking for what these flours are- and here's

what I've come up with. If you come up with more, let me know, this stuff

might be good.

Lolita

>Sago flour - sago - food starch prepared from carbohydrate material stored

>in the trunks of several palms

>Chana/Besan flour - gram (a bean, I think)

>Chappati flour- I believe, from recipes I found, that this is whole wheat

>Maida Flour - Plain flour ( I assume wheat)

>Idli Rava-Semolina fine

>Dosa/Urad Dal flour - Split horse bean (don't know it, but it's a bean)

>Mathai Flour - can't find anything on this one!

>Ragi flour- from the way I understand it is a completely different grain

>from anything we know of- supposed to be very healthy and especially

>helpful to diabetics

>Papad flour - Papad or papadoms are made from dried gram (pea or bean)

>flour (these puff up to twice their size when put in hot oil, but I have

>no idea how good they would be home-made, which is what this flour would

>be used for)

>Murmura - puffed rice

/Kohlapuri
