Guest guest
Holly, I dry heaved from the thing.. I didn't feel it was something I could work through LOL!! Maybe others have better experiences?? Heh. Jodi > > Hi SCDers! > > I've read a recent post where it was suggested as part of the candida rotation to mix 2T ACV with a glass of water 3x's a day. So I decided to begin a week of this treatment and oh my how gross! It said to sip on it, well aside from wanting to spit it out I'd rather just down the straight vinegar and get it over with, is this ok to do or is there some benefit to the sipping and diluting with water? > > Help! Guest guest
Mara, I dig drinking Savta's pickle juice. LOL. There is just something about straight up ACV for me! Really depends on the strain of yeast you're dealing with.. It's kinda like the carrot juice alone is terrible for yeast but carrot/garlic is awesome! I used to get really sick Yeast *anything* My goodness S Boulardii was the mother of all *%$%. Guest guest
I'm confused because I thought vinegar was so detrimental to yeast?I was confused when I found out it was supposed to be bad for yeast, because it seems so antiviral/bacterial. I know I've read about people using it as a natural remedy for dandruff, in the cases where the dandruff is caused by a fungus. Also, when I was still testing foods with my chiro before he moved away (sniff), I tested mustard made with ACV (Eden brand @ whole foods). My yeast reflex was flared up then, but the mustard cancelled it out, signaling that the mustard was good for combatting the yeast. I'm guessing it was the ACV. Guest guest
Thanks for your replies ladies. I will be starting my " shots " of ACV today. Yesterday I developed a dull headache a few hours after ingesting the diluted ACV, is this a common occurance for die off? If so, great, I want to annihilate those bugs! Holly O. Crohn's 5/09 SCD 9/1/09 yea.. my son and I take ACV at meal times for digestive issues. Neither one of us can handle it mixed with water. We do one tsp in a little plastic dosing cup. Swallow fast and then drink lots of water To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Mon, February 22, 2010 12:58:24 PM Subject: ACV as candida treatment Hi SCDers!I've read a recent post where it was suggested as part of the candida rotation to mix 2T ACV with a glass of water 3x's a day. Guest guest
Kim M, How are ya btw? It's really confusing. I'll give an example.. when women have a vaginal yeast infection some douche with ACV meanwhile if they use too much it can cause yeast overgrowth in other parts of the body. I think it all goes back to internal environment again and our ecology and immune health.
