Guest guest
Hi I am a lurker, I have posted one other time. I read the posts daily. These past few days I have been reading the posts and it is about diarrhea..explosive diarrhea, uncontrollable diarrhea...and well it has me worried to the point I am wondering if I am making the right decision to have this surgery done. On my first post I mentioned that I do have Multiple sclerosis (MS). My MS is not bad at all, mainly my big complaint is fatigue. However, some people with MS lose control of their bowels and I guess this is what I am afraid of that the DS surgery will be the breaking point for me and make my BM's uncontrollable. Right now I am thinking more and more of just getting the " sleeve " part done. I guess I just want reassurance, however, I do want the truth about the uncontrollable and explosive diarrhea. I see Dr.'s Anthone and Keshishian next week. I am thinking more and more about having Dr. Keshishian just doing the " sleeve " lap for me. Not sure yet....I guess I am just worried about this, and all the talk about the BM's have me even more worried. Thanks for listening.
