I found out on another website that the Senate is posed to change

IDEA legislation drastically. We need to contact our legislators in

the US Senate and let our concerns be known.

You can find the ammendments being proposed by Sen Norwood and

Session at Copaa.net.

The abbreviated form I read basically stated if your kid is a

behavioral problem or disruptive they don't have to keep them in

special ed. This is an oversimplifed version but something we as

parents of our kids need to be knowledgable about. Sen Kennedy

stated unless we show numbers against these amendments they will

surely pass.

We all know how are kids can be diruptive from time to time.

This organization is asking for letters but their website should help

explain to everyone what is needed.
