Guest guest
It really is hard to get used to the expander in the beginning. Just hang in there, I remember when I had it that I also had a hard time talking and swallowing. It really does get better!! When your mouth is used to it, it won't produce that much saliva anymore, which will make it easier to talk and you won't have to swallow that much anymore. With me it took about 1 or 2 weeks before my saliva production was back to normal. It will stay hard to eat, just take little bites (I lost some wait because I just didn't have enough patience to eat slowly so I just ate half of what I would normally eat). Any more questions, let me know. Nathalie > > I had my fixed sarpe put on today. I can't swallow very well and > spit comes out of my mouth when I talk. Can anyone offer advice > please. Guest guest
believe it or not, though, most people find that they don't even notice the danged thing by the time it comes out. It must be most difficult to get used to it, though, and you have my sympathies! Just keep plugging... Cammie > > I had my fixed sarpe put on today.
