Guest guest
Hi, I have a 5 month old son who has plagiocephly. We just had our appointment at BC children's hospital the passed monday (feb 2), the occupational therapist said the head banding would be very beneficial. But she warned that the local orthotics clinic has a long waiting list. So I called the clinic to book an appointment in the car on the way home, and the earliest that I can get is April 9, which is more than 2 months away. I have read 5-6 month, the skull is most malleable. Since we have to pay for the cost of the treatment, we thought maybe we should just do it in WA. 1) I am wondering has any canadian out there got the head banding done is the US? Any advice? 2) Any good recommendation for a clinic in WA? 3) What is the cost approximately? 4) Do I need a doctor's note or referral, or can I just call and book an appointment. 5) My son Logan is 5 month right now. Do you think I should just patiently wait for 2 month and do it locally in vancouver. Thanks, Alison
