Don¹t forget to tune in on September 12, 2001 (noon MDT), to our

90-minute internet conference called What's a Community to Do? Helping

Families Help Their Children with Special Needs, sponsored by the Opening

Doors Into Rural Communities Project at Utah State University. No

preregistration necessary. Questions can be faxed to or

available immediately after the session for further questions and

You will learn how four rural communities tackled local challenges faced

by parents of young children with health and developmental problems.

Topics include: creating interagency community councils, partnering with

parents, organizing services in rural areas, and the value of community
