Guest guest
Hi to all, I am wondering if there is any one out there in the San Francisco Bay Area who has had any luck finding a Dr to chelate???? My pediatrician is considering doing it after I presented him with the Dan protocol on chelation but he has some concerns about liver damage. He has called several Dr for info/ advise but none have returned his call. I think if I could just find someone local to guide him he would be willing, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and god bless, Valarie in Ca ( mom to Maranda A/S and Nickolas Aspergers maybe)
Guest guest
Yes, I actually found two doctors in the San area who were willing to do this. My favorite of the two is Dr. Graeme Shaw, who is a pretty solid all-around DAN dr. He practices with Raj Patel, who I have also heard good things about, but I don't know if he's into chelation. The other doc, who we started with, was Dr. Marinkovich, in Redwood City, but he's more an allergist and charges kind of high $$$. These days, we are seeing Dr. Amy Holmes in Baton Rouge, because I wanted to be under the supervision of a doc who actually knows more about autism than I do, for a change! :-) We're very happy with her and feel the money and travel was well worth it.
