Guest guest
I felt tired and a little hungry when I first started the 1200 calories diet, each week it got better and better. I'm not diabetic so I'm not sure about low blood sugar. I just keep on track and it got better, I got surgery and I got better. Hang in there. Take care. Talk to you guys in 10 to 12 days, off to Colorado in the morning. Guest guest
Yes, I had a couple of significant low blood sugar episodes at first. I had to adjust my diabetes meds and I also talked to the folks in SSF and they adjusted the 1200 calorie plan a bit for me. . . a couple extra servings of specific types planned in, so it's actually closer to 1350 for me. However, I'm still finding that I'm really hungry - even when I eat everything I'm supposed to. Hungry enough that I've even woken up at night from it. What I'm trying to do is work through the hunger; first I make sure it's not " head hunger " , but if I'm actually starting to get physical symptoms (headache, etc.) I'll try eating a string cheese stick or a Lite & Fit yogurt - just enough to get me over the hump without crashing.
