Guest guest
- I understand why you are frustrated but to characterize the people who post here as " Lay enthusiasts of certain procedures tend to toot up all the positives, and forget to mention the risks and negatives " is pure malarkey. The vast majority of DS patients would have become RNY patients had they not performed significant research into their WLS options and found a superior surgery. There have been posts from a few who haven't lost what is usually expected. However, you are a fairly new post-op and I can't imagine how your new body would allow you to plateau and remain there so soon You are wise not to rely upon just what is said here, though. Do a little research of your own. You will find that what is said here is validated by both Hess' and Rabkin's studies. Patience brother!
