Guest guest
Well I am titrated up to the full dose of Cellcept now and off the steriods.today. I am taking 2000 mg of cellcept a day.. two 500mg morning and two 500mg at bedtime. Last week i was to be off the predisone but when i got down to 10 & 10 the severe pain in my neck, back shoulders and arms and legs started again. Now i am off steriods today totally and so far not much pain as last week. I hope the cellcept is kicked in now. I had to withdraw from college for the semester... so the depression is setting in. I was on the deans list two times in the past year and so proud of myself and i look at my awards letter on the wall and just cry. but my body just is not letting me do what i want right now. since I withdrew for all classes I cannot go back to class until fall. and hopefully i can get my fin aid back. I will have to submit my drs excuse and letters to the fin board to see if they will reinstate my aid for fall. so far no sideffects from the cellcept , cross your fingers for me. the only thing i do notice is i get a werid taste in my mouth after i take it. the first time i took the two at one time.. my throat felt funny and i thought i was closing up with allerigic reaction..and took 3 benadryl and i was fine then the second time i took the two i still had the taste but not the feeling of any reaction.. I think i panic the first time..i took a xananx and was fine. But with these meds you get so worked up because of there sideffects and you almost make yourself feel like your having a reaction. The good thing is I am not getting sick like i did with the imuran. for 7 years i was throwing up several times a week. no matter how i took them. Hope this email finds everyone in a pain free day and stay clear of big crowds because of this swine flu.. since most of us do not have immune systems. from the meds. love to you all and many hugs Many Blessings A.
