Guest guest
My son seems to be mildly traumatised, continually saying he is stuck even when he isn't. Has anyone held had this situation and how did you get your child past this please? As a bit of background... Though is just 2 we had graduated him to a single bed which he loves, he took to this really well & though we were concerned about him going back to a cot when we were on holiday he initially slept better there than in the single bed (rather like a duck to water). However after getting over the jet lag, he did get his shoes stuck between the bars of the cot, hence the cause of his distress. Hope someone can help Mum to Al dob 10 Dec 03, Bilateral clubfeet Life is a continual challenge but it is worth it
Guest guest
Maybe you could make up a game with him where he is Stuck...UN-stuck! Like putting his foot in a mildly tight spot,(playfully) say " Stuck! " and pulling it out, " Un-stuck! " (or another word like FREE!) Use hands, toys, etc, until it's funny to get stuck and unstuck? s. Traumatised by the Boots n bar & getting stuck My son seems to be mildly traumatised, continually saying he is stuck even when he isn't. Guest guest
My older son used to play this game too. He liked to say he was " stuck in the mud " whenever he didn't want to go somewhere or do something. He used to laugh so much when he said it. I think it's the ring in the phrase " stuck in the mud " that he really liked. > > > > > > Maybe you could make up a game with him where he is > > Stuck...UN-stuck!
