Guest guest
You do not need a prescription if you are paying for them yourself. They are about $395 for the 1st set with the bar. Then $295 there after for just the shoes until you need a new bar. Which it quite a while as the s have an adjustable bar! It seems odd that your son was doing Ok in them, then he wasnt. That is usually a bar length problem. Have you measured his shoulder width and compared it to the bar width yet? They should be the same. I would say that if you want, yes, get the s. We ADORE them! I would never use the others! That is also because my daughter has A-Typical too. Not alot of insurances will cover the s as of yet. But and Jean Michell will give you the billing codes for you to try. Hope all gets better soon! Guest guest
I believe someone else has already given you the link to the site. They take credit cards for payment or checks (or money orders, I suppose) and then you file with your insurance to get reimbursement. OR, if you have insurance, you can get Hanger Orthopedics to order the shoes and they will bill your insurance. Make sure that your insurance will pay for them, though, because Hanger marks up the shoes over a thousand dollars for their profit (unbelievable!) so you will be stuck with this bill if your insurance doesn't pay. did poorly in the Markells (pressure sore) and we got her the s, which she is tolerating well. They are great for babies who have anything atypical at all about their feet. has curvy toes which was the site of the sore. They are also great for any babies, in my opinion, because they are much easier for parents to use and it is easier to see the baby's heels, they are less likely to cause any sores, etc. There is not a baby for whom they would not be good, I don't think.
