We had problems with our guy and this too. They do get used to it and sleeping with it. I think mine had a combination of the helmet and teething. Now he's sleeping in it great. I make sure the room is cool enough because it does get hot with that helmet. And he sleeps on his side, I think that helps him too. I've heard of people using memory foam mattresses to help.Be still and know I am God PsalmsPlagiocephaly From: drinadugandzic@...Date: Wed, 20 May 2009 21:38:06 +0000Subject: Sleeping in the helmet

Hello,

I am new to the group. My 7 1/2 month old son just got his helmet three weeks ago. I think I am having a more difficult time adjusting to it than he is, but that is something I have to deal with :)

An issue I have noticed is that he is having a hard time sleeping with it on. We usually end up taking it off in the middle of the night because if consistently wakes up crying. Does anyone have any good tips that work in regards to having your child sleep comfortably with the helmet?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
