I wonder if you could send a letter or tape to them & ask them to share it with him, as it sounds like you can't rely on your aunt to do so. This won't help with the loss of the family hunting heritage for your son, but at least you would know that your uncle got your message of love. Just a thought. If you can catch him home in his workshop-- he loves to see us. But if she's around-- it's like a brickwall.
