I get my stickers from coree at http://www.blingyourband.blogspot.com/

She can do anything costume (we currently have a surfer and sand theme) and she also has stuff to pick from. Use a layer of modpodge over the top and the stickers will last forever!!

Hi,Thanks for sharing the site. Does she paint the helmets or are they stickers? Did you buy stickers from her and then you put them on yourself? My son will be getting his DOC band June 1st. I would love to see your surfer and sand theme. Can you post a picture?

Thanks so much!On Thu, May 21, 2009 at 5:53 AM, Kirsten Hany <kirsten.hany@...> wrote:

yeah thanks for sharing that site its absolutely adorable! and teresa, it looks

like you order them and then when you get them you put them on yourself and you

can either put modpodge over em or just leave em. i read all about them and they

are vinyl stickers, they sorta match the helmets texture....they are just

adorable and anyone can do it!

Has anyone found the best product to seal the decals? I ordered Oliver's decals from her (amazingly awesome decals, by the way!), but my son is barely 16 weeks old and not sitting up yet so many of the ones on the back have started to peel. I ordered some more, but I wasn't sure what the perfect (least toxic, easier to apply w/o getting it in the foam) sealer is.

Try covering them with clear nail polish. That is what we

did when we had stickers on our band.

they are rub-on vinyl transfers. I am not at all crafty and they were really easy to use. She send them to you with instructions. She does not paint, and I have chosen to not paint my sons helmet becasue I am afraid it will be streaky and chip (again, not crafty at all). Hope this helps!

mod podge is not toxic and I use two coats. It goes on white but dries clear. Let each coat dry completely between the next application.
