Guest guest
-----Original Message----- From: watnext2001 I totally agree with Marjie. Any patients who actually believe this crap have not done their research. This doctor is certainly pushing his choice of WLS, which is a dangerous thing because he's not considering the patient's eating habits. He certainly doen't have the patient's best interest at heart. ************I was never asked to restrict food choices beyond a restrictive re-feeding plan of three months duration which was very very cautious relating to consistency so as to render as much of a safety factor for the new pouch as possible. I can eat railroad spikes I always say, have never had the first good aversion or problem and have never yakked and if anything have far more capacity than I want. But yet, I remain for two years now within a five lb range. Truth be know I do watch the numbers if they begin to climb, 95% of the time I choose protein first and then vegs,,,etc. Sometimes I eat like a normie quantity wise, (read that as a regular normie, not our kind of norm,,,,LOL) and others I can eat like a newbie wee pouch person. Never really worry much about it anymore. Would still like to lost another 20 or 30, but then,,,,,twiggie I never will be nor do I wanna,,,,yanno? I always got a chill down my spine when I was on another list that had DS devotees there who put out similar info all the time.
